Airport to downtown
We recommend to check the options at the airport administration website (both for a taxi and public transportation).

Public transportation in Prague
Prague has an extensive network of public transportation including subway, trams, buses and little ferries. A single ticket, valid for 60 minutes, costs 26 CZK (about 1 EUR), and shall be purchased in advance. More information can be found on the website of the Prague Transportation Administration, particularly the online schedules and network maps.
We also refer to a comprehensive online schedule of all public transportation in Czech Republic.

How to reach the conference venue
The conference is located here (Malostranske namesti 2). It can be reached by trams number 12,20,22, the tram stop is called "Malostranske namesti". The subway station "Malostranska" is nearby. If you exit the tram, look at the upper side of the square: you will see the rather big House for Professed, where the conference is held. There is a sign of Charles University at the entrance.

How to reach the dormitory
The dormitories are located here (Parlerova 682). The nearest tram stop is "Pohorelec", to be reached by the tram number 22. Perhaps the fastest way to reach the place from the airport or from downtown is, 1) get to the "Dejvicka" subway station (from downtown: the green subway line; from the airport: bus 119), 2) change for a bus 108 or 174 or 217 to "Hladkov" (3 stops, 5 minutes). Dormitory-to-conference transportation is most easily done by the direct tram 22, or by walking through the Prague Castle or through the gardens of the Petrin hill (about 20 minutes).
